Editorial Policy

Effective Date: September 06, 2026

  1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This Editorial Policy (“Policy”) governs the standards, practices, and principles by which Tiny Revelry (“we,” “us,” or “our”) creates, publishes, edits, and manages all content appearing on tinyrevelry.com and any associated digital platforms, newsletters, or publications operated by Tiny Revelry. This Policy applies to all content contributors, editors, staff writers, freelance contributors, brand partners, and any other individuals or entities who produce content on behalf of or in association with Tiny Revelry.

By contributing content to Tiny Revelry in any capacity, all contributors acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms set forth in this Policy.

2. EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE

Tiny Revelry is committed to maintaining full editorial independence in all content decisions. Editorial decisions — including but not limited to topic selection, content framing, recommendations, reviews, and opinions expressed — are made solely on the basis of editorial merit, audience relevance, and journalistic integrity.

No advertiser, brand partner, affiliate, sponsor, or commercial relationship shall influence, direct, or otherwise compromise the editorial content published on tinyrevelry.com. The existence of a commercial relationship between Tiny Revelry and any third party does not and shall not constitute grounds for favorable editorial treatment of that party’s products, services, or interests.

Any attempt by a commercial partner to condition advertising, sponsorship, or affiliate participation on editorial outcomes will be declined, and such arrangements will be terminated where applicable.

    3. ACCURACY AND FACTUAL STANDARDS

All content published by Tiny Revelry shall meet the following accuracy standards:

3.1 Factual Verification. All factual claims, statistics, data, and representations included in published content must be verified prior to publication through credible, authoritative, and where possible, primary sources. Contributors are required to retain documentation supporting all factual claims for a minimum period of two (2) years from the date of publication.

3.2 Source Standards. Tiny Revelry relies on credible sources including, but not limited to, peer-reviewed research, government publications, established industry reports, and recognized subject matter experts. Anonymous sources will not be cited unless exceptional circumstances warrant such treatment and editorial leadership has granted prior approval.

3.3 Corrections Policy. Where an error of fact, omission, or misrepresentation is identified following publication, Tiny Revelry shall issue a timely and transparent correction. Corrections will be clearly noted within the affected content and will not involve the silent alteration of published material without disclosure.

      4. DISCLOSURE OF COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIPS

Tiny Revelry operates with a strict disclosure policy in respect of all commercial relationships that may influence or appear to influence editorial content. In accordance with applicable guidelines issued by the Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) and other relevant regulatory authorities, the following disclosures apply:

4.1 Affiliate Links. Content containing affiliate links through which Tiny Revelry may earn a commission upon a reader’s qualifying purchase shall be clearly disclosed at or near the top of the relevant content using plain and unambiguous language.

4.2 Sponsored Content. Any content that has been created in whole or in part in exchange for payment, gifted products, services, or other consideration shall be clearly identified as “Sponsored,” “Paid Partnership,” or equivalent disclosure language, prominently displayed prior to the body of the content.

4.3 Gifted Products. Where products have been provided to Tiny Revelry at no cost for the purpose of review or editorial consideration, such content shall disclose that the product was received as a gift or complimentary sample. Receipt of a gifted product does not guarantee a positive review, editorial coverage, or any specific editorial outcome.

4.4 Brand Partnerships. Long-term brand partnerships or ambassador arrangements shall be disclosed in all content produced in connection with such relationships, regardless of whether direct compensation was received for a specific piece of content.

Tiny Revelry reserves the right to decline sponsored arrangements, affiliate programs, or gifted product opportunities that conflict with our editorial values, audience interests, or the integrity of this Policy.

        5. EDITORIAL STANDARDS FOR CONTENT QUALITY

5.1 Originality. All content published on tinyrevelry.com must be original and must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. Contributors must not reproduce, paraphrase without attribution, or otherwise misappropriate the work of others.

5.2 Attribution. Where reference is made to the work, research, statements, or intellectual property of third parties, appropriate attribution shall be provided in accordance with standard journalistic and editorial practice.

5.3 Tone and Voice. All content must align with the established tone, voice, and values of the Tiny Revelry brand. Content that is discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, misleading, or otherwise inconsistent with our editorial standards will not be published and, where already published, will be subject to removal.

5.4 Editorial Review. All content is subject to editorial review prior to publication. Tiny Revelry reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to accept, reject, edit, or request revision of any submitted content. Editorial decisions are final.

          6. THIRD-PARTY CONTRIBUTORS AND GUEST CONTENT

Where Tiny Revelry publishes content authored by third-party contributors, guest writers, or external subject matter experts, the following conditions apply:

6.1 All third-party contributors must disclose any conflicts of interest, commercial relationships, or personal interests relevant to the subject matter of their contribution prior to publication.

6.2 Third-party contributions remain subject to the full editorial standards set forth in this Policy and are subject to editorial review and modification prior to publication.

6.3 The views expressed by third-party contributors do not necessarily represent the views or positions of Tiny Revelry. Where appropriate, such content will include a disclosure to that effect.

6.4 Tiny Revelry does not accept guest posts, contributed articles, or third-party content for the primary purpose of link building, search engine optimization, or promotional benefit to the contributor.
